How to Analyse NetFlow Data for IPTV

NetFlow records network conversations. Your router can export NetFlow. Your British IPTV stream appears as a flow. Analysis reveals packet loss, latency, and jitter.


NetFlow analysis is advanced. Your IPTV Reseller Panel provider cannot see your NetFlow. Your British IPTV traffic data is yours.


British IPTV NetFlow requires collector. Your IPTV Reseller Panel reseller's server IP is the destination.


An IPTV Reseller Panel has an IP. NetFlow shows traffic to it.


Here is how to set up. Router must support NetFlow. Enable it. Send to collector. ntopng or ELK stack. Free. Look at flows to your provider's IP. Check packet loss percentage. Check jitter.


Here is what to look for. Packet loss over 0.5 percent is problematic. Jitter over 30ms is problematic. Retransmitted packets over 1 percent is problematic.
